One of the best Japanese singers, always wearing glasses with a down-to-earth look. Best known for 手紙 ～拝啓 十五の君へ.

Wonderful melody and touching lyrics (just look at the faces of the little girls in the clip below), this is one great song!

 

On a side note, there is also a version from Taiwan (just okay) and another version from HK (simply terrible, the lyrics ruined the whole song). To make it worse, HK singer Sammi Cheng sang the Cantonese version in her recent concert which was absolutely totally beyond horrible!!
