The biggest news from Germany is not about Chancellor Merkel planning to meet with Dalai Lama again, it’s her cleavage.

 

Media made big fuzz on her evening dress a few nights ago at the Oslo Opera House (I have to admit it’s quite eye-popping).

Hillary has done it on the Senate floor, why not the German Chancellor?
And with her background from Communist East Germany, you have to give her more credit!

 

According to her spokesman, Merkel won’t let the media attention affect the way she presents herself. "For future festive events, the chancellor will use her own personal sense of taste, desire and mood in choosing her wardrobe."

 

A Head of State not afraid of being a woman!

 

I wonder if Anson Chan would be courageous enough to try something similar in the next July 1st cocktail reception… hahahaha

Yanzi

Got an email from a friend… he is having a job interview in Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University, which is yanzi’s alma mater.

 

Going through his photos… can’t help but admire the beautiful campus. It’s rare to find a developed country under a one-party dictatorship. Even rarer to find one as commercially successful as Singapore. (But the policy they are running would only work in a city state.)

 

I hope he will get the NTU job so next time yanzi visits the university for a fund raiser, I can ask him to get an autograph.

 

Speaking of yanzi, her last album was released around this time last year… what’s up with her?
