ANA
These are 2 beautiful TV ads from ANA (the best airline of the World), along the same theme おかえりなさい or Welcome Home.

Mousugu (meaning "quite soon"):

Early Morning (Tokyo streets being quiet and peaceful):

Much better than those airline commercials showcasing their Business Class comfort… how many people can afford it anyway??

Anybody would be sentimental after viewing.
Home sweet home.

Ibrahimovic
Barca won the season again. No surprise there… but the biggest revelation in the last few days was the more-than-just-friends photo of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gerard Piqué.
Watching Ibrahimovic‘s response to the hot female reporter (I assume she is a reporter…), I can’t help but think of a similar reply from George Costanza:
"Look, you wanna have sex right now?  Do want to have sex with me right now?  C’mon, let’s go baby!  C’mon!"

Who would have thought?  Ibrahimovic & George hahahahahahaha

From the "Not that there’s anything wrong with that" Seinfeld episode:

From the Ibrahimovic confrontation:

Your fullest
I was just watching this episode when the dying father tells Sakamoto Ryoma:
"As one born into this world… you must live to your fullest. And end your life fulfilled."
(This is one great Taiga series. NHK never disappoints.)

Looking at the photos and I wish I was there.
Go vote today and live to your fullest!

Universal Suffrage
I’ve been amazed by the speed of power transfer in UK… one day is all it takes.
No matter what, the Brits have been running the best parliamentary system for 600 years.
Still the model democracy for the world.

On the contrary, I’ve been reading all these pure non-sense in HK that people would give up the right to vote on May 16.
Okay, so if you have a hot spring trip to Hokkaido on that day, that’s a reasonable excuse. But I frankly can’t come up with another…

If you give up the right to vote, the communists will have the perfect justification to claim HK people do not deserve Universal Suffrage.
Why would you do that?

If you do not like Wong Yuk Man, by all means, go ahead and vote for Pamela Peck.
But please don’t give up your precious right.

Next Restaurant
Alinea is the other Chicago spot I wish to explore.
I’ve always wondered how can anybody, let alone a top chef, be able to cook a great meal after suffering tongue cancer?
The only analogy I can think of is Beethoven composing Symphony No. 9 after losing hearing… but he got months to work on the piece, where a cook only has minutes.

Another hindering factor is price… absolutely, completely, bloody expensive!
A 12-course "Tasting" will cost $150!!
A 23-course "Tour" will cost a whooping $250!!!!!!!

And now Achatz has another neat idea… his new restaurant is called Next Restaurant. You need to pay in advance for tickets if you want to have dinner there (like Dell selling computers where they charge your MasterCard first before they ship anything).
Cheaper than Aliena, perhaps try it in "off-peak" hours…

Note: Hong Kong was featured in the trailer!
